I have a feeling that this is a very important week and a turning point in the life of this Government. Militant protests and blockades have taken place in the context of an ever-worsening cost-of-living crisis. People were threatened with repression. They got some repression as well, actually. Yet, a high level of the population supported those protests. Why does the Tánaiste think that is? Also, in opinion polls, people blamed the Government and they blamed Donald Trump and Netanyahu. By the way, the Tánaiste has never once condemned the illegal war on Iran and Lebanon that has fuelled this. I have not heard it. Verbal gymnastics have come from the Government to avoid apportioning blame. I believe that the resolutions the Tánaiste is proposing tonight will not cut any mustard. None of the issues is resolved even for the sector that protested never mind for the general population. The likelihood is that the cost-of-living crisis is going to get worse. We have psychopaths are running the population. We need workers and trade unions to step into the picture here.
